Who is KEVIN SMALL?

Good question! Kevin started his comedy journey in the early 90's with the Dallas comedy group Ad-Libs. With no performing arts in his background, he was surprised when a woman asked him who his agent was. In response, he asked, "What's an agent?" She explained that an agent gets you auditions for commercials, television and movies - wow!
He soon found he had a knack for commercials and booked more than 15 in his first few years. He later joined Lone Star Comedy, directed by former Los Angeles Groundlings performer/director/training center director, Randy Bennett.
After moving to L.A. for more opportunity, he performed with ACME Comedy’s Main Company for 12+ years, where he wrote and performed sketch comedy with innumerable comedy stars, such as Bryan Cranston, Mayim Bialik, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Joel McHale and Neil Flynn.
He also performed in UCB's "Sketch Cram" as well as with Kristen Wiig in The Perks before her SNL days.
Kevin has starred in 65+ national commercials over the past 20 years and even starred with William Shatner in a Priceline commercial.
Kevin trained at the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse. Directed in the Master Class by Howard Deutch, (Young Sheldon, Empire, Getting On, American Horror Story, True Blood, Pretty In Pink) Kevin shared the stage with the late Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond), Harry Hamlin (Mad Men, L.A. Law) and Jorge Garcia (Hawaii Five-O and Lost).
After returning to the DFW area, Kevin performed with Four Day Weekend and served as their Training Director for 6 years. Now, he is leveraging all of his varied acting and comedy experience to craft programs that benefit aspiring performers of all levels.
